Requirements/Qualifications (Education):

Must have a minimum of 4 years experince.

Bilingual English / Spanish is perferred

Job Description:

Loading Service Manager responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Responsible for day to day operations of the site. Scope includes: Quality, Safety, Operations and Administration

Responsible for recruiting and training in a high turnover industry.

Onboarding and ensuring new hires are trained properly.

Follow and enforce processes and procedures.

Hold supervisors accountable and take disciplinary action when required.

Manage local customer relationship.

Document work performed, entering payroll, invoicing, and completing required daily and weekly reports

May be responsible for holding and documenting dayshift meetings with associates.

Resolve day to day issues with associates. 

Enforce company safety policy.

Ensure dock area remains clean and organized.

May be responsible for starting and closing shift.

Responsible for the correspondence with the local customer contact regarding day to day issues and long term projects.

Responsible for correspondence with the corporate office contacts including Human Resources, Safety, and Accounting

Responsible for utilizing proper techniques to communicate (Ex: email)

Responsible for overseeing dock area and ensuring that operations personnel are on the dock area.

May enter data into the company billing and payroll database and or manage personnel to do so.
