Required to work safely and follow

safety policy at all times

Jockey performs pre-trip inspection on

Yard Spotting Unit





·       

Jockey receives move instructions from

Supervisor and is assigned seal if pulling out Outbound Load, or storage

trailer





·       

Jockey assures the trailer is secured

properly at the dock





·       

Jockey moves trailer to the appropriate

staging area in the yard





·       

Jockey identifies trailer to be spotted

back at empty door





·       

Jockey opens doors and secures doors to

side of trailer





·       

Jockey records moves on Yard Spotting

sheet





·       

If necessary hostler cleans trailer





·       

Required to wear Personnel Protective Equipment required by job





·       

Required to work safely and follow Action





·       

Logistics Safety Policy at all times





·       

Associate performs pre-trip inspection on Yard Spotting Unit





·       

Associate receives move instructions from Action





·       

Supervisor and is assigned seal if pulling out Outbound Load, or

storage trailer





·       

Associate verifies he is at correct door, chain is up and dock

light is red





·       

Associate removes chock and pulls trailer away from dock, stops to

close door and places seal on trailer if needed





·       

Associate moves trailer to the appropriate staging area in the

yard





·       

Associate identifies trailer to be spotted back at empty door





·       

Associate hooks to trailer and moves trailer to dock area





·       

Associate opens doors and secures doors to side of trailer





·       

Backs trailer into empty door and chalks





·       

Associate records moves on Yard Spotting sheet or tablet Associate

then comes onto dock, removes chain and inspects trailer to ensure trailer is

clean and fit for loading





·       

If necessary hostler cleans trailer and turns dock light to green

to indicate trailer is ready for loading
