Holding and documenting daily shift meetings
Following up on discussion items brought up during shift meetings Resolving day to day issues with the support of the General Manager Enforcing company safety policy on the dock
Ensuring dock area remains organized and associates are adhering to processes and procedures
Ensuring Weekly Payroll and Invoicing are correct which may require database data entry Maintaining monthly KPI's and metrics as well as drive Quality Assurance and continuous improvement initiatives
Responsible for ensuring that dock personnel have all the resources needed to perform job duties
Managing customer relationship
Recruiting, Hiring, and Training of new associates
Scheduling
Holding associates accountable and taking disciplinary action when necessary
Performing General Manager duties and running the facility in General Managers absence
